We’ve always known that sensitive skin can flare-up anywhere, not just our faces. So we committed to redefine what sensitive skincare for the body looks and feels like. This new collection of breakthrough formulas works on multiple levels to strengthen and soothe the skin both in and out of the shower – using high-performing, face-grade actives.

Each product in the Gentle Genius™ range has been formulated with a biomimicking Ceramide and botanical complex that’s proven to support the skin barrier – the skin’s defense system to lock hydration in and keep irritants out.

And the biomimicking part is key to its proven results. Derived from Argan, Meadowfoam, Macadamia and Shea Butter, this diverse complex is near-identical to the skin’s natural Ceramide composition – so it can replenish what it’s lost. 

But it’s not just about the carefully chosen ingredients. We’ve also pushed the boundaries of green chemistry to create smarter, sophisticated formulas that make your body care regimen a joy rather than a chore. 

Meet your new in-shower duo

We’ve developed a game-changing Soak & Seal System™ to transform your showers – and skin confidence. But first let’s dig a little into the science behind it.

The optimum time for skin to absorb water is when it’s wet. Our first-of-its-kind Soak & Seal System™ brings together two products which work together to maximize moisturization and lock it in for longer lasting comfort. All without slowing down your busy daily regimen. 

First up is the Replenishing Body Wash – a luxurious cream-to-foam wash powered by Ceramides (the glue that holds your skin together) and Colloidal Oats (a soothing anti-inflammatory proven to reduce transepidermal water loss) for all-over calm and conditioning. While many shower gels strip away your skin’s natural oils, this one’s clinically proven not to. In fact, it’s proven to instantly hydrate – even after it’s rinsed away.

Next comes the Wet Skin Moisturizer. The hero of our new collection – this exciting new format is here to shake up your body skincare regimen to make it quicker, easier, and far more effective.

A fast-acting Ceramide and 100% natural Squalane moisturizer designed to work on wet skin – it creates a barrier to strengthen, soothe and seal in moisture, keeping skin hydrated for up to 12 hours*. 

Simply wipe away excess moisture, apply to damp skin, and pat dry once you’ve massaged it in. Easy. 

Our body cream reimagined

A notorious comforter for tight, itchy or uncomfortable skin – we thought it was time to add barrier defense to our body cream’s long list of credentials. Reformulated with Ceramides and Calendula to nourish the skin while supporting barrier repair, our omega-rich body cream is clinically proven to keep dry, thirsty skin moisturized for up to 24 hours and is proven to be suitable for eczema-prone skin. 

Put through its paces in independent trials 92% said it soothed dry skin, 90% said skin felt instantly soothed and 88% said skin felt more comfortable after using it.**

While our Wet Skin Moisturizer has a light, serum-like texture and can be used in or straight after the shower or bath on damp skin, our body cream is much richer and should be applied to dry skin. 

Not forgetting hardworking hands

Our much-loved, fast-absorbing hand cream is now turbocharged by Ceramides and Meadowfoam to restore the skin’s protective barrier.

A non-greasy remedy for dry and chapped hands, we’ve added NMF Sugar Complex (you might recognise it from our night cream Bonne Nuit™️) which is almost identical to the carbohydrate complex found in the skin’s own Natural Moisturizing Factor.

It instantly hydrates* and locks in moisture for longer to keep hands soft and supple.

Sensitive skin and fragrances have historically never got along. That was before we developed our 100% natural KindScent™.

Every product in the Gentle Genius™ Barrier Care Body Collection is scented with our delicate, uplifting, low-allergen and dermatologist-approved aroma that’s well tolerated by sensitive skin – as proven in 96-hour patch tests.
